I'd rather anything won rather than the hideous thing that was Ukraine....looked like that awful Dame Edna as Terry kept saying, never liked it either...song had like 3 words, the outfits were hideous. Can't understand how the country ever admitted to thinking that was good music and sending it out of their borders to show to the rest of Europe...

ummm.........I was rooting for Ukraine - but then again I am probably camper than the song itself.

I've just been directed to the Andorra(I think?) entry that got knocked out. Sort of McFly thing they had going on.....how did that not get through???

lol, those countries always have been fixed...but they seem to multiply at alarming rates, wheredo all these tiny russian neighbours appear from?

Or I suppose maybe its not, may its just that being neighbours they like the same type of music and possibly the artists cross the borders before getting picked for eurovision anyway so the public would naturally vote for their neighbours as they know and like the same kind of music.

Bet its just political though. Still love to know how there manages to be more of them countries each year....

yeah - I think the world is "cultural" voting...I find it hard to believe that this has to do with "politics" as we know it...no matter how much I want to believe MR Wogan.

We are such poor losers ;0p

Nobody likes us though, we went to war in Iraq with the Americans...but we don't have the power to frighten people into voting for us, we are just stuck out with no neighbours, if we didn't pay enough to skip the qualifying rounds we'd never get anywhere.
