I haven't seen anyone translate this yet. Here are the 2009 new year jweb messages from NEWS! Much thanks to maoling for the great help with translations! :D

For the year of 2009, as NEWS..I wish we could release many singles this year as well
Hopefully we can strengthen the music we produce ♪
For myself, I'm obsessed with Western music lately and hope to learn many new things.
Privately, I would like to travel. It doesn't matter whether it's within or out of the country!
I've also graduated from university, hopefully I can challenge many different things with the time reserved in the past for studying and going to school (^O^)
I hope to attend more dance classes as well!
A phrase used to describe such a 2009 would be.."Ashita yarou wa baka yarou!" (those who put things off till the next day are stupid)

Year 2009 started with the Tokyo Dome shows and being able to spend New Year eve with NEWS makes me really happy
As a group, hopefully we can organize more concert tours
NEWS started the new year together, hopefully we can grab the opportunity to ride ahead, making 2009 a heartwarming one with our smiles!
As for myself, my butai "CALL" would start end of January.
Being able to get a butai every year, a chance to let others objectively watch me act, I'm really thankful for that!
Firstly, (I wish for) the Tokyo Dome concerts as well as my butai to go smoothly, then to work hard and move on to the next stage!

I'm Nishikido Ryo.
For the year of 2009, as a group I wish to work hard, and this goes the same for me as an individual..I'm happy to act in the same drama as Ninomiya-kun last year.
Deep down within I wish to challenge many things for 2009! If that's possible.
What I wish to challenge this year is to learn more about myself.
I want to go overseas! As compared to leisurely checking out various places of attraction, I would much rather walk along the streets of English-speaking countries!
Really, I still wish to open up my current state!
To break out of it! I have to do so!!
I have to break out of the current "Nishikido Ryo"!!
I want to work hard for 2009 as well

The end of 2008 as well as the start of 2009 were both spent at Tokyo Dome.
It is from such a beautiful scene where the new year unfolds
Hence I wish to grab the opportunity to ride ahead, hopefully getting jobs involving lots of interaction with fans. And as an individual, I wish to stay happy working, whatever it is, to enjoy my job.
Also, although I've been doing this all along, things like composing my own songs for the members to sing.
As for myself, I'd be graduating from university this year, hopefully both my public and private lives are fruitful

As a group, both the start and the end of the year were Tokyo dome performances, it's a year that both ended and started with NEWS.
I feel it's quite great to have such a beginning and that it would be wonderful to start the year with this momentum ♪
For myself, RESCUE will be starting on 24th January (Saturday).
The past consecutive days were spent shooting the drama, but this is a role requiring much physical training, it's sometimes hard to move my body on a really cold day
Also, even if the days are warm, because of the special nature of my costume as well as the need to move a lot, I'd feel pretty uncomfortable as it gets rather hot.
It'd be easier to move my body if it's a little cold, hence I feel this is a good season to shoot the drama, I want to work hard
Tegoshi Yuya

As NEWS this year, the thing I hope to do is to hold something along the lines of two concert tours
That's because I really love LIVE!!
It would also be awesome if there are activities with all the fans!
For 2009, I wish to get closer to everyone!
This is Tegoshi Yuya's goal
The four-character proverb I like is "to sleep on brushwood and taste gall" (laughs)! (meaning to take whatever hardship necessary to achieve one's goal)
I was 16 years old when NEWS was formed, I'm already 21 now
I need to be more serious when doing things that require me to be serious.
Not forgetting my challenge-loving self, pracitising all sorts of things, I hope this year would be a year where I can accumulate all my strength!
