Fight Club was one of the greatest movie adaptations ever. The visuals gave such a better idea of the duality than the book did. And movie Tyler had the seductive quality that just didn't come off on the page.

I've seen it more times than is healthy.

I've seen it more times drunk than is healthy. But it's good for what ails you when you're working in customer service and are brimming with rage as a result.

Have you ever seen Fight Club... on weed?

Actually, I'm a girl and I love that film to absolute pieces. And I find it amusing that Palahniuk said something like, "There's so much character development in the film that it's a shame to go back to my book after watching it."

Ooh, you said in public that sometimes the movie is better! Expect scorn.

(For what it's worth, I agree with you. But I know lots of book snobs.)

I challenge said book snobs to read the specific works I cited, then watch the movies, then read the books again, and get back to me.

I love V for Vendetta ... but I have to say, I don't get the hype about Fight Club. Is it because I'm a girl? lol

Not being socialised male in this society might have something to do with it, sure. norabombay's a girl, though, and she seems to like it as much as I do. So maybe it's not as simple as all that.
