disclaimer; kuroshitsuji isn't mine! :(
If it's anything that would put Sebastian in a particularly good mood, it would probably be a smooth day without his master being kidnapped or the mansion being blown into pieces.
Of course, smooth also means no extra and unnecessary stress like a kitchen full of explosives, a closet full of very expensive and very broken china or a yard full of rotting trees.
But then again, this is the Phantomhive household he is dealing with. There is no such thing as normalcy within those heavy and flamboyantly decorated ebony gates that lead toward the needlessly grand estate.
Even if he has wondered how nice it would be, once in a long while, the mere thought of having a normal day almost scares Sebastian into oblivion if he was capable of feeling fear. The sudden jolt out of chasing down criminals and cleaning up after his coworkers might cause his poor, old demon heart to flutter with a heart attack caused by boredom.
While it would make him less cranky if he doesn't need to rebuild the mansion after an epic showdown with circus performers or capturing some wild wolfman thing, Sebastian decides that it's just fine to end each day with a kiss on Ciel's family ring and tucking his little master into bed.
He didn't make the contract with the boy because it would be fun to do trivial human things.
Even if he gets cocky and snide remarks from those of his kind because of this babysitting job, Sebastian refuses to let go of his temporary escape from eternal boredom and miss out on one delicious meal.
Afterall, there is a reason why he is a demon of all things.
