In 3 days I will not longer be drum major. It almost seems as if a piece of me is being taken away. Don't get me wrong, I am excited to see who will take it over next year, but it is killing me to have to let it go. I do not even feel like I am part of the band anymore. I know what you mean. The last few days are HARD... especially when you realize that high school band is over. Seeing my guard kids doing things without me was heartbreaking... and realizing those last few days of C49 were upon us (go 7th period! haha) was even MORE heartbreaking. You'll always have it with you, though.

I miss it SOO much.
