One theory I had at one point was that some dreams are alternate reality dreams. This weekend, Steve reminded me of this. He dreamed that his mother was still alive, but sick. Technically, she would be today since she was supposed to have still 2 years ahead of her, but instead she passed away in 40 days.

Also, Steve has the same nuclear disaster dreams as you. His started about the same age as you when he saw the movie "The Day After"
