Having a few in-laws that don't respond to anything short of savage beatings - - Char and lelain being the exceptions, of course! ;) - - I don't think this was unprofessional at all. People who don't respond to reason sometimes need to have things spelled out for them forcefully, and your walking out left her no room for further argument. Well handled, from my point of view! :)
