You look so in control when you write you're out of control. Odd, it really is. I though those who were mentally unstable were supposed to not have that healthy distance to themselves. I don't think you're egocentric enough. Lovely poem, b.t.w. :) It's really a shame, this with your job. What about trying to think about *you* this time, that job makes you feel good. I'd say you got the quality of having a really good career if you like, CO at least, you got what it takes, so please don't give this therapy varity too much time if you feel it is plain bullshit. You need the *real* stuff, f.f.s., you got kids and the World is waiting for you here.

Hmm - I wasn't aware it was a "healthy distance"; my rule is get in there first with the insults before some other bastard does it for you.
And anyway, if I put everything in my LJ it would soon get very dull. I can't talk to my husband or friends with any real meaning, so can't really see how I could write any of that stuff down on the internet. I wouldn't even know where to start.
Looks like prefect healthy distance to me, but then perhaps I've been exposed too often to (certain) people who exclaim "everyone else are idiots" and "there is nothing wrong with me". You are sensbile when comparing :)

I'm told writing it out/off (not neccesarily on the Internet) is a very good start/therapy. In fact several sensible persons have pointed it out to me lately. Though I know perfectly well where to start I do not dare because what if the demons come alive and jump me in the face once they get on that piece of paper? Yup. Look who's talking...
You could go into standup comedy. Your posts always have me in stitches (although of course in a laugh-with and not laugh-at way, and obviously concerned about your mental wellbeing). Maybe you should write a book? "Exploits of a Not-Quite-Admissable-For-Overnight-Stay-in-Hospital Loon"?
And your Winona Ryder Beetlejuice comment had me snort tea out of my nose, as thats exactly what I was thinking.
At least you've got an excuse for being fat, my tummy is all me. Bah!
I demand pics of dogs and ferrets and new houses etcetera!
I was thinking of you, the other day, and wondering how you were, if you were OK or not... Just remember I care and other people care, I wish the best for you because you deserve it.
