Why Twilight is not Romance, but Abuse

Okay, this honestly scares me. Because it is being toted as the model romance, and women make this their model romance... So when this happens IRL, it'll be no big deal, it won't be abuse, it'll be romance. And that's just sick and twisted and wrong. -

I admit, with much shame, that I actually liked the Twilight books for a time. I read the first three right after New Moon came out, and truthfully thought Twilight was the only good one, but that the others were decent.
