I love that Balthazar's feelings seem like the secondary motivation for messing with Cas, with the primary motivation being that Balthazar finds it fun. But Castiel just knows all along that it's their history and their emotions and their investment leading to this odd mix of jealousy and insecurity that Balthazar thinks that he's hiding so well. And then, Balthazar's mixed feelings right at the end about wanting Castiel to put words to his feelings but realising that it's just not the best time for anything. *siiiigh*

Also, Cas being a power bottom? And riding Balthazar like a pony? And being loud and pushy and wanting it all during sex? Hnnng, perfect.

Even if the show tried to push the "shy virgin" thing with Castiel at first, I have to admit, I totally see Castiel as a bossy-boots in bed. All that slamming people up against walls - especially that instance with Crowley and "a whore is a whore is a whore" - leaves me convinced he'd be all about the grabbing and ordering and, well. *fans self*

I think Balthazar absolutely adored Castiel a fair bit more than he wanted to, so it was nice to make Castiel reciprocate in this, even if it was just an unfortunate case of not being the best of times for them. *sniff*

Awwww! I don't think I've ever read any romantic Balthazar/Cas fic. Usually, Cas is reluctant, yet unable to resist. Or he's shamelessly using Bal. I like this. I think I could become big fan of porny and schmoopy Bal/Cas fic. Very nice, my dear. Very nice indeed. =D

I have a ~thing~ for Balthazar/Castiel schmoop a mile wide. I don't see Castiel as a shy wilting flower, and I don't see Balthazar as someone who would willingly be used - the second he realised Castiel was using him in the show he opened up to the Winchesters about it despite hating them, so he's a lot shrewder than that, I think.

I know schmoop would probably never happen for them really but IN MY DREAMS IT CAN HAPPEN. Balthazar's visibly head over heels for Castiel and Castiel definitely at least likes him, so it's good to give them a moment together that's happier than canon.

Thank you :)! I have to admit, that's very much how he came across to me in the first episode we met him - all "What's French for twelve?" and "blow coke and jump on the bed", but visibly caring for Castiel in a meaningful way despite all his talk.

Plus it's nice to think about Castiel having sex with someone who's happy to ADMIT to liking him. *hugs them both*

Oh, you are very, very welcome! I have MANY FEELINGS for Balthazar's relationship with Castiel, the idea of this history between them and the fact I'm fairly certain that during his stay on Earth Balthazar's feelings for Castiel took a turn for the romantic.
