The latest upsetting (and numbing) news is of a friend now in the hospital with an aggressive brain tumor.
I feel selfish saying, "I never wanted to learn about [insert scientific name here], and yet today I did." And I feel guilty that my hyper-immediate family is yet untouched.

E-file with TurboTax on-line went beautifully (again), and the direct deposit is eagerly awaited.
