hello. I'm really sorry your dad's ill. I don't know if you know, but my mum had cancer a few years ago and was in and out of hospital a lot, and I really do know how you feel. It's so horrible seeing one of your parents like that and hospitals are just horrible places. I hope he gets well soon, see you tomorrow!

thanks everyone - rhian esp.
he came home this afternon to have lunch, and suddenly he seems normal, bt i know as soon as he's back in wearing that dressing gown, he'll look really vunerable again. He'll be ok, so i'm not too worried.
