The no camera thing is a bitch because of the wifi and 3g connection, but no camera means no video-skype. Only audio. Which is lame and oldschool. my CELLPHONE can do video conferencing and it was a free phone from ATT (assuming I have a data plan). This device is ~600 dollars and does have this

About the camera thing, for me, it's something I just don't care about. I don't care about video conversations and what not. Not at this point.
Multitasking isn't an issue for me either. But that's just a software update anyway.
And like I said above, I understand the frustartion about a closed ecosystem, but for me, just something I don't care about when looking at this thing. I'm sure when it comes out next month someone is going to jailbreak it and be able to do most of it anyway.
**** Computer science students cant use this, cant program on it, even if the keyboard worked. Science (Chem/bio/physics) students cant use it, cant use the statistical software on it. Education kids cant use it, cant use the backend of blackboard and whatnot (uses flash). Its academic uses are restricted to about highschool and lower.
OH I FORGOT. No multitasking. Another feature my FREE phone does Easily. I have my IM open, and music, AND can text AND HAVE A NOTEPAD OPEN. And it works.
No multitasking = no note taking, no USE for Anything but a glorified musicplayer.
