Surgery went well yesterday.  Dr. Topol removed 8.2 lbs of skin from my tummy and now I have a relatively flat tummy.  ^_^  I also have a lot of pain.  -_-  But I have percocets!  ^_^  Anyway, I'm home for 2 weeks while I recover.  Call, IM, whatever.  I'll be going stir crazy.

I bought a pretty new watch today - the first nice watch I've owned.  $160 (original $225) - it's so cool because it doesn't use a battery.  It charges in the light - it's called eco-watch or something similar.  It makes me very happy ( Read more... )

Cyn had a baby!  Theodore Michael was born this morning at 8 lbs 12 oz and 21.5 inches long.  Yay!  Let me know if you want to contact her and don't know how.

Also good news, but not baby-related, my mom got a job!  She starts Monday.

So, I'm here in Florida with Jenn!  Her boyfriend is very nice.  His family is awesome.  I'm really impressed with his dad because even though he's a typical man's man, and the family is devoutly Christian, his dad totally accepts that Joe's brother is gay.  I've seen it too often when that's a problem, and his dad is so proud of them both ( Read more... )
