I’m suddenly really excited and really interested in this idea, because it gives me such joy and I’m searching for a foothold, for a place to nudge myself in and for some ambition. I am so sick and tired of being bored of stuff and feeling pressurised to be adult all the time and to veiw things with a certain amount of cynical reverence

I keep thinking about how I need to reply to your message at inappropriate times like at work or right before falling asleep (which is about to happen soon). I'll get on it. But I will say, as if an ocean never came between us, you still have a great understanding of my life.

Talent is something you definitely do not lack. I think you do need to run with this enthusiasm because if there is one thing that will stop you cold is hesitation. Avoid thinking about all the possible outcomes and circumstances and just follow this impulse. And the more you write, the easier it will be to shift through what's tangible, what's possible, and what's not even worth worrying about.

You're a natural-born star kid, and the world is going to provide you with space; just keep in mind that the audience is only willing to wait so long.
