1) Do "demons" exist? Not in the supernatural form. There are humans whose actions would earn them the name of "demon". 7) If they don't exist why do you suppose their image is still encrypted into the social conscience of our society? Because people have had a need for externalizing immoral behaviour, and finding excuses for such criminal and inhuman acts. Blame game has gone on for quite some time. As to why the images haven't left? Not everyone is willing to give up an excellent external source of evil.
