(The general theme to the Verse. I was so tempted to go with the obvious choice and have Closer - Nine Inch Nails but this seemed to go much better. A few of you know that this was never meant to be this bittersweet, dark and sprawling and that was just an excuse for smut, fem!dom and trashiness. But now it s filthy and everyone is broken in their own way.)

(But this is what it looks like from the outside. What can I say except Spoony is clueless? Okay, I can say more than that. Spoony has a crush and gets quietly upset whenever Insano - who really isn't the best reader of emotions in any Verse - comes home happy after a night with Linkara.)

(Insano's song. He's desperate to be loved and respected, as normal, but it's much less likely to happen. He likes Spoony but he can't see what s really going on, he's grubby and twitchy and he s addicted to spending his - or Spoony's, rather - money on the club and Linkara.)

(Linkara/Insano. Like others in the club, Linkara wants to get out. But unlike them - who are relatively safe and have other jobs in there than just being around for sex - he's been making mistakes and getting into messes for a long time and he's terrified that he's going to give up just like the Critic. So whenever Insano comes around, he likes to pretend that this isn t his job.)

(Chick 's Theme. Out of the four, she's probably the newest at this - going from hooker to club-girl to pimpette extremely quickly - and can/could shut her own problems out easily. But things are starting to seep in and she can't stand the fact that she let herself get into this mess.)

(Critic/Nerd. Before the Nerd came by, Critic was hard and was nearly always a brat about Linkara's thing with Insano. Now that he has or sometimes has someone familiar of his own, outward-softness that isn t put on or what people want from him is starting to show. But that might not be such a good thing in this line of work.)

(Critic/Others. It isn't just when he s losing it, whenever he s working he might have some form of control and be manipulative, but he's still so painfully willing to degrade himself and act however the customer wants him to be.)
