so today i got my wisdom (teeth) extracted. i guess 3 out of 4 were impacted and 1 was partially impacted. i got to keep all 4, and they aren't even cut up in pieces like they usually have to do. the oral surgeon guy was mildly creepy in a tooth doctor kind of way because he kept saying how gorgeous my teeth are, and not even just when i smile-

I don't want to get my wisdom teeth removed, because I enjoy being wise.

Also, while they're healing, make sure you don't eat pretzels or chips or anything. If you want to find out what happens when you do, dig through the archives of my LJ. It's.. unpleasant.

yeah, i honestly thought i wouldn't be able to keep them because everyone i've talked to said they couldn't keep theirs.

and i didnt plan on eating pretzels or chips EVER for a very long time. chips sometimes hurt my gums when i dont have holes/stitches in them. but dude... what happened when you did? did the stitches break?

No, but one side swelled to epic proportions and my face looked like a half-inflated raft.

I had to go back to the oral surgeon and get it taken care of. His professional remedy involved stabbing it with something sharp. It drained for like three friggin days, and then my face was normal size again.

But then it got infected again two days later.

Everything about wisdom teeth sucks.
