To recieve a comlement is something we all appreciate. Last night I felt overwhelmed by the number of comments I was given, I'm not complaining. I love the ego boost every now and then - who doesn't?
The world is a better place when you feel good about yourself, in your own eyes at least.

Honestly, I feel too overwhelmed when bombarded with compliments. I've never really liked getting too many compliments, just as I hate apologies, and sympathy. I suppose I'm just not used to it. I was sort of the chubby, greasy dork that everyone picked on growing up, and I never was used to people being nice to me.

I'm sorry about that, but I'm sure now you get lots of complements. When people do give them to you, you never know what to say, and that they are waiting for you to return the favour. Whatever you think about them.
