Looking for a roommate, must be willing to defect to the suburbs (Everett)
Looking for a roommate to move into a big beautiful room in my apartment. Rent is $500/month with hot water and OFF STREET parking included. Laundry is in the basement
Your bedroom is the bigger of the two with tons of sunlight during the day, and a HUGE closet.
This apartment is going to be furnished and freshly painted, and all you need to bring is your bedroom furniture (I also bring PS2 and guitar hero, full band setup, and a working sega genesis.) There is a spacious living room, eat-in kitchen, back porch, and fenced-in side yard. All of the floors are hardwood, except the kitchen and bathroom.
Everett is a suburb north of Boston, and this apartment is off of Revere Beach Parkway (MA-16) and near routes 1, I-90, I-93 and MA-99, easy commuting access to Boston. It is also a 5-minute drive to the Orange line (Wellington Station) and within walking distance to bus routes 110, 111, and 112 serving both the Blue and Orange lines.
Our downstairs neighbors are elderly, so no huge keg parties (but friends are always welcome, just be considerate.) The landlord is very attentive, so any maintenance will be taken care of promptly.
I’m looking for a cool roommate, someone who keeps the common spaces clean, and is considerate. (If your definition of compromise is “my way or the highway”, this isn’t going to work out.) I prefer someone in their early to mid 20s (no gender preference) because I'm only 22, and don't want an age/maturity difference to be a problem. I don't mind smokers, you just can't smoke INSIDE the apartment. There is a back porch, so you don't have to go too far to get your fix. :)
I am a (soon to be) Emerson College graduate. I work in retail out in Natick, and part time at a local media company. (Still trying to break into the radio broadcasting field.) I love music and dogs, and am looking forward to not being crazy busy all the time. I’m pretty laid back, drama free, and easy going.
