Yesterday I did the inital filing of the divorce papers ($350 just to file!).  Luckily it can all be done through the S'vale courthouse so I was able to walk over there on my lunch break (2 miles round trip).  Luckily my roommate and Trevor were both available last night, so I had her serve the papers to him for me.  Today I am going to file the "

Did you pay your roommate $1 to serve the papers? That's what I paid the friend of my ex who "served" the papers on her. :-)
