It really is. :( It'll be a while before I can think about him and not start to tear up.

He was a great little bird...we may end up with another little foundling this breeding season, since people tend to bring lost, orphaned, etc. animals to us. No one will ever replace Cricket, but we might have another crotch-cuddler one of these days. *sad smile*
