what I actually meant was stay up until two reading the last segment of Cassandra Claire's excellent Draco Trilogy. and then downloading the entire thing for future reread. (if you are curious, wiki)

I think that family of your acquaintance is also of our acquaintance. Because of that story, my parents refused to let us buy pirated DVDs or CDs (not that we felt a particular urge either way). Also we didn't technically smuggle anything in, except for perhaps the food items I "forgot" to put on my customs card. But I don't know about you, the Customs people didn't even poke at my stuff. He read my customs card-thing, and then was like, "Go forth." The end. Also, we flew the same route you did with Northwestern, so were at the same airport, so I was wondering if you, like me, found the bookstore at the Narita airport with its bilingual Tenipuri in both English and Japanese?

hmm? bilingual? I did see manga, but not with translation...which is ultimately why I decided not to buy any, b/c even though it saves money (Naruto on cheap print paper cost roughly 3USD) I figured I would make it up in effort.
