Helloooooooooo lovelies.

So, I have this amazingly wonderful friend named Mayumi. She's in Japan, studying English, and she's asked me to help her with a project she's doing. She needs some Americans to answer these questions...

So if you have like, 2 minutes, please take some time to comment and fill this out. She and I would really love you ( Read more... )

1. How much money do you spend on your clothing per a month on the average? not very much. maybe ten dollars for like, socks or a inexpensive tank top. i'm horribly broke (yay for college students).

2.What do you think of Japanese fashion? i think i'm jealous of everything. it seems that the fashions are fresher, more carefree. in america we're kind of slobbish and uncreative. japanese fashion seems to buy into a lot less of the "trends".

3.What would people think if you wore Japanese fashion in America? i think they would be jealous because i'd be so much cuter than them! but japanese girls, on average, are a lot smaller than me, so i doubt i'd ever fit into those teensy clothes.

4.What do you think is cute in American fashion? america doesn't have fashion. we steal stuff from everyone else. but i like diesel jeans (which are from italy actually) but they have a good style. i also like motorcycle boots and fitted denim jackets.

1. on a good month, like 80... but usually about 30! haha
2. I know nothing of Japanese fashion... I remember the exchange students clothes and I liked the girls but not the guys.
3. I don't think that would work.
4. I like the variety of it.

1. God...anywhere between $0-$100 depending on how much I have...usually, it's closer to the $0!!!

2. I'm not really sure how I feel about Japanese fasion. Sometimes I think it's really cute, and other times it's a little overwhelming.

3. Again, not really sure. I think that our culture in this country is very closed minded, and from what I've seen around campus, it's a lot different from what we consider "fassionable" in this country...I know that I would look terrible in Japanese fashion, only because I don't have the tiny body for it...but again, who knows!?

4. I'm the type of person who likes to dress comfy, so I like cute sweatshirts and jeans with comfy shoes... But I'm wierd...so whatev!

1. like $5-10, whatever is cheap on ebay or value village if kelsi takes me or if she and her mom buy me stuff at nordstrom.

2. I freaking love japanese fashion. we need it over here.

3. Pfff, i'd be so freakin popular if i wore it, but i definitely couldn't afford it.

4. american fashion? thats easy: the snowboarder look. nuff said. black shirts, with torn jeans, etnies, and a hat to the side or spiked hair. damn i look good...

1. How much money do you spend on your clothing per a month on the average? well, i would like to spend @ least 90 or so. but really i spend about 40 bux? its not that great, let me tell ya.

2.What do you think of Japanese fashion? i like it. its truly original, they have a lot of bright colors, i admire that.

3.What would people think if you wore Japanese fashion in America? a little out of the ordinary, but i don't mind, im open to anything. i would love to get more influence by there fashion, and wear some of there stuff.

4.What do you think is cute in American fashion? i like A&F clothing, even though i only have like 2 or 3 articles of clothing from them, but still, i think there clothes are really americanized and clean. although i adore going to thrift stores, and finding something that no one else has. the looks i like are: emo (anything black, basically, but not entirely)prep (but not really, A&F, i guess?) and suffer (layed back clothing, skirts, tank tops).
