wow, i would LOVE to go to france, or even just study abroad but i can't because of skating. if you get the time, while you're over in europe, prague is absolutely amazing. i know it isn't really close to where you are, but it is just gorgeous.

Yeah, so I've heard. I've also heard that it's pretty reasonably priced, which helps. My roomates are definitely interested in it, so I'm gonna look into it. Glad to know you loved it!

it is reasonably priced, for sure - when i was there in 2001, 1 czech dollar (i think they're called krones? cant remember) was 33 cents in american money. we bought so much, it was ridiculous!

i've heard the same thing about prague. all of my friends that have been there just rave about it and how cheap it is. unfortunately we didn't hit it.

so jealous of your trip. reading about all of your adventures makes me want to go back even more.

You honestly need a few days to see everything in the Louvre.

I loved Versailles! It is beautiful there. I can't wait to hear all about it!

I've loved Monet ever since I read Linnea in Monet's Garden when I was in elementary school too!! When I went with my parents when I was 10, we even stayed at the Hotel Esmeralda and went to Giverny to his house, just like her. Musée d'Orsay is definitely my favorite museum in Paris. My favorite painting there was the Van Gogh one. I think it's like the Church at Auvers or something... Anyways, glad to hear you're having such a good time. Makes me miss Paris =)

Yeah, Sainte Chappelle was just breath-taking. Now I know why people say that it's underrated and more beautiful than Notre Dame.
