So, understandably, I'm pretty upset about the London terrorist attacks. And I just read that London won the 2012 Olympic bid. I would've been super excited, but it's rather bittersweet right now. Gah! Sara Bareilles is playing at THE TROUBADOUR with DAVID RYAN HARRIS?!! And it's only $8! Too bad it's August 8th and I'll be up here. This is why it's (sometimes) better to be in LA. Meh.

Surprisingly enough, I've been super busy the last 3 weeks - working full time teaching camp at the Children's Theatre and stage managing Urinetown. Although it is really nice to finally be making money again, and to be involved with the show. We opened last night, and overall, I think it went really well for an opening night. Eleanor might be the only one interested in this, but the History Boys, which was a great play I saw in London at the National Theatre, is going to be made into a movie, apparently. I saw the show my last night in London, and really enjoyed it, not only because it was well written and well acted, but also because the cast was a bunch of cute ( Read more... )

So I failed. I got really tired and let myself go to bed at 3am, figuring it'd be better to get a couple hours sleep when it was actually still dark, and then I'd get up at 6am and finish the paper by class at noon.
