So. This part seems more of a set up and background building chapter, not that that's a bad thing or anything, but the suspense and lack of actual happening is starting to kill me XD

Definitely very much a background-building chapter. :) And, since I know that you've now gone on to read the second part, very much about building a false sense of safety. <3 The fact that it was starting to kill you with tension means that it was doing its job! :D

oh Emiliana, you're doing it again. I don't understand how you do it. How can you write something so Fucking amazing every single damn time? doesn't it get exhausting

okay and those next paragraphs just reinforce how awesome the idea of the dream and it ending with everything but the kiss fading, because it shows just how much Blaine wants it. wants that reality. As it's fading, and he's grasping to hold on to it, willing it to stay together but it keeps fading, the only thing he's able to hold onto is the kiss, probably the singular thing in the whole dream that felt the most real, made him feel the most alive. everything else, as beautiful as it was, no matter how much he wanted it, was just a setting. the real thing he wanted, needed, was that tender love from Kurt that he isn't getting in reality.

his mind yelling at him furiously that they’re fake, it’s fake, it’s not real, why do you feel this way when it’s not realthis line really got to me. I think for me it's because sometimes dreams can feel more real than anything in reality. Especially because of the reality that Blaine is facing. It's almost like he'd rather believe that real life was the dream and those dreams of him and Kurt, normal

I love that Jack just has that word of caution to Blaine, because I know that Amita says not to do anything that would put him in danger, but i can't help but feel that Amita's research was all a way to try and make people believe they're real, so that vamps could be killed more easily, and meeting Blaine, and killing Kurt, would in a way help her put to rest the feelings of revenge that she wants for her friend. not that i think she's consciously using Blaine for that, but she lets it get in the way of complete rational thinking. nothing is too dangerous as long as something is learned. Jacks words of caution were just what I was looking for to balance that out so thank you for that

This dream is definitely very, very different from the other dreams so far, and you’re very right that it’s quite reminiscent of the one that’s been mentioned with the two of them as normal humans where everything is right. And I think you’re very, very right that pieces of reality are filtering their way into this one; bits and pieces of the real Kurt seeping through, in some way. Blaine feels safe with him, yes, and the setting is the same as the first dream all those nights ago. They seem to almost be conversing about what’s going on in the real world, not the space of the dream, and that by itself is unnerving
