Omg this fic just slays me. I just..... Wow. I am just so happy they're happy and want them to be safe. They definitely need to move for a while though, that much is very obvious. *sigh* I am really just speechless. More to come when I can think, this was such a beautiful surprise!
Oh my goodness, thank you so much. So happy to give you a nice surprise, love.
It's nice, too, so see all of the different ways that people are responding to the way everything has turned out. Seeing someone embrace the happy elements of the ending is so interesting and different than many people are responding, and I'm loving hearing everyone's gut responses. <3 Thank you for reading!
I love the tone shift. I think it makes complete sense. I would not have wanted to read anything like with what happened in Interview With The Vampire and listen to Louis moan and groan about how hard it is to be a vampire, if I'd been Lestat, I would have staked him immediately.
Thank you for writing! This is probably my favourite of all time in this fandom, maybe even in any fandom.
You summed up my feelings perfectly with the jarring bit. That is exactly how it is. You go from sweet gentle Blaine to just pure animalistic Blaine. It's really scary, and sad, and amazing. LOL
jkdhksjhdkjsdh, oh my goodness, I'm sorry for making your heart confused. ;___; I must say, I don't think that I've ever had to immerse myself in a character perspective that required so much cognitive dissonance in order to write it out. It really required just throwing up my hands and throwing myself into who Blaine is now, because there was no other way to wrap my head around the perspective. It's tragic and joyous at the same time, and that's so difficult to come to terms with. Your response is absolutely perfect because of that. (And I'm glad that you enjoyed the shift in power dynamics during sex, too, heee. <3)
'Jarring' is a perfect word; the character in the first half of Chapter Nine and here? Are so far away from one another in terms of perspective and motivations, and there's almost no adjustment period. Blaine is a different creature now, and he is utterly immersed in that frame of mind as soon as he wakes up. I'm so pleased that the stake scene hit you, too -- having what Blaine thought of as a desperate lifeline being

Thank you so, so very much -- I'm so glad that it was a nice surprise! :3 It's going to be over so soon, oh my goodness. ;__; I don't even know what I'm going to do when it's complete!!
Absolutely riveting! I am so glad I stayed up for this! You have them both so chilling at one moment and then endearing the next. I also adore the change that has come over Kurt, now that he and Blaine are equals.
