I honestly cannot even comprehend the fact that this story is over. It's complete, it's done. I've been writing it for seven months and now it's all finished. I don't have to spend all my freetime daydreaming about this story anymore, doodling plot ideas and bits of dialogue in the corners of my notebooks.

it's just that he genuinely doesn't have the capacity or the desire to think and feel as he did before. It's disturbing, yes, and kind of devastating when you think of all he went through and how hard he fought to begin with, but it makes sense and feels true to the characterisation and story you've created, and I think it was a perfect finish. <--- thank you, thank you, thank you beyond words!!!
