Hello, ducks!! :D
I have fallen off the face of the earth lately. This is in part due to school -- at my university, it's paper writin' time right now, which means that I am buried up to my elbows in World War Two-Era Mandate Palestine colonial protocol records and books about the true universality of human rights. But it is also because...
I MADE A RADIO PLAY!!! :D
This is incredibly exciting for me! A friend had a birthday coming up, so I decided to give it a try and give it to her as a present. She loves the Noir genre, even writing a producing a black-and-white detective play locally (with the use of lots of makeup, of course). So Boyfriend and I, as well as a gaggle of friends, made her a 1940s-noir detective drama. It was SO MUCH FUN! But quite a huge amount of work, with that many cast members. Like, woah. Very exhausting. BUT IT IS DONE NOW.
I've created a version without RL names to post, since some of my friends are antsy about that stuff. And here it is! Please let me know what you think if you download. The effects are cheesy, the lines cheesier, but it was a great deal of fun. :)
