Today I was basically accused of not being a Christian & putting the royal family above God. WTF?!

I've been accused of not being a Christian for: listening to secular music, being overweight, supporting gay marriage, being pro-choice & now because I follow the royals?! Imagine what these people would think if they knew: I play Dungeons & Dragons & ( Read more... )

They were picketing (peacefully, however) the convention and had megaphones, telling us that we need to repent our sins, yada yada yada.

I saw a video on YouTube with some guy preaching & another guy further away doing interpretive dance to what he was saying...It was pretty funny. I don't remember seeing protestors when I went in 07 & 09, but I was totally overwhelmed by all the people.

Once upon a time, being accused of not being a Christian would have cut me like a knife, but these days... It would frankly not matter very much. There are always those who will think you are not a "true" Christian (whatever that means), so... I am who I am, and am devoted to the calling of my own heart :-)

That's how I try to be logospilgrim. I've been told enough times I'm not a Christian to the point I don't care, but this was such an odd thing to hear...that I'm like worshipping the royal baby?! These people are nuts!

Yeah so called 'Christians' are usually the most judgmental. That's probably why I don't go to church anymore or other churchly activities.

The only time I go to church is for a Bible class my pastor teaches. I'm really not involved anymore. And what happened at my former church is a whole other story!
