The weekend was a real slog. Good job H is a very good friend. I arrived in London late and got up to start the weekend's work at 7.30.a.m. Saturday morning. That's an unholy hour for me anytime - let alone the weekend. We started work proper at 8.30 a.m. and bar meals and the odd cuppa (maybe an hour and a half in total) we didn't stop until 10 p. Halloween went well. I actually bothered this year with J being of an age where he appreciates such things. I dressed the outside of the house with black and orange scary face balloons, candle lanterns and put tea lights all along the low wall outside the living room window topped off by a huge pumpkin, lovingly carved by mine own fair hand. ;-p I ( Read more... )

I've just realised that there isn't many Goths in Brighton that I actually like. I like all of the punks I've met, and most of the metal crowd, but the Goffs either seem to be a pretentious bunch of wankers, up their arses or both. What the hell was I thinking of last year??

Saturday we tootled up to London to support the lovely Skeletal Family at The Slimelight. They're a lovely bunch of people and they played a fantastic set. In fact all the people we met were fabtabulous and everyone had a great time. We especially liked the aeroplane cockpit in the EBM room....
