Oh Lordy Lordy Lordy sweet Lordy McLord. I just don't know. It's that Wednesday feeling again and it's not purdy. Perhaps I just stop updating on a Wednesday. Ahh, Cherry Lambrini.. so wrong yet so right! It's on special offer in our Union shop at the moment, and since I'm too skint to actually go out properly at the moment, I've just purchased two bottles in celebration of having finally completed my dissertation.. and I intend to have polished off the lot by the end of the evening!

Since you mention Manchester nightlife, any advice on cool places to go/awful places to avoid? I'll be up there with a few friends over Easter, and having never been before in my life have no idea where's best!

Hmm, tricky. I could both bitch and rave for hours simultaneously about the nightlife in this fair city, but I shall try and be as succinct as possible. In terms of funky and individual bars I would definitely recommend both the Fab Cafe and the Night and Day. Oklahoma is ace for daytime tea/coffee/smoothies, as is Cafe Pop (in all its pop art lampshaded, Formica tabled glory!).

One tip that will virtually prove foolproof, however: Avoid the Printworks and Deansgate Locks AT ALL COSTS! Unless you fancy being turned away at the door due to not wearing Burberry stilettos.

That place pretty much backs onto our house, its right near the train station/bus stops too. I could do you a map if you want, or meet you somewhere. Super easy to find, anyway.

Heh, thanks sweetie. I may actually take you up on that.

Your art is really impressive. I can't believe you haven't had any formal training! I wanted to comment, but couldn't find any way of doing so.
