I've just rediscovered the utter aceness that is snail mail. This month I am mostly trying to be less rubbish in terms of keeping in contact with longer distance friends, emailing people I'll suddenly realise I haven't spoken to in a good long while and whatnot. Oh, you and your friends in high places. But yes, I certainly will. I haven't been to an event there in a long time, this should be quite exciting.

I used to be on this site back when it had thousands of people on it, and I got cool postcards every week from all over the place (mostly Canada, oddly).

There are only 900-odd addresses on now, but it still looks cool.

That's amazing! I will definitely give it a go. A friend of mine had the address of a Canadian prisonn, actually, for which you could randomly send postcards to inmates (it came inside one of those, "101 Random Acts of Kindness" books). I might find out if they still have it.
