Okay, lots of us here have a ton of gripes with ebay, but what to do about it?

What if we all started posting at www.gothicauctions.com and www.gothauctions.com again?

Both of these sites were good back in the day and they are still running.( I just found my old GA profiles from 1999!)

I think people on LJ could really help revive at least one or both of those sites!!

I used to use gothicauctions; I don't think I ever set up a profile on gothauctions, though. Does one have more signed-on users than the other? I wouldn't know which to use now!

But I agree with you, eBay is getting worse and worse, with fees and censorship and a Byzantine authentication process and PayPal and the whole thing. If buyers and sellers have protection from deadbeats on the goth/ic auction sites, why not bring people there instead? No fees!
