I have reserved my spot at the CIA for March 3rd!  I am so excited about it, but also weirdly apprehensive.  When I sent in the payment, my hands were shaking a bit, and my heart was racing.  This is a huge step for me, and I so badly want to learn to be a chef, but this is also going to lead to so many changes.  I still have a boat load of forms I

I'm sure this will be a good thing for you. I can hardly believe it's been almost a year since I moved and it's amazing how much stuff I've accomplished. I think sometimes you just need something huge to shake you up so that you can figure out who you are without reference to familiar places and people.

PS Have you noticed that the little fortunes on Salada tea tags are now more cryptic than smart or funny? Today mine says "It's easier to stay out of prison than to get out."

I have no doubt that this is what I want to do, but it just seemed like a huge deal to actually send in the deposit. :P I was thinking about it earlier, and this is really the first time I am going to be away from home by myself...that totally blows me away.
