As far as registries go, Jeremy and I did Target, Linens N Things, and Crate and Barrel. Don't forget, they can also shop online for most stores these days, if they're computer-friendly. I know lots of older people are not. Either way, I suggest going on Crate & Barrel's site and getting the book about registering. I don't remember what it's called, but it's supposed to be great. Additionally, register for things you really like but would never buy yourself or can't afford at the moment. :) Good luck!
