Oh, oh, oh my god. I should not love unrequited fics as much as I do. This was torturous yet sweet. Love it.

I love this because it's basically the opposite of what I would've done if I'd been given the prompt. And because it's gorgeous. ♥

I think one of the best things about these two characters is they have almost equal strengths and weaknesses - there's a real sense of balance between them. That's the only way I enjoy relationships really, where there's compromise and even a power struggle rather than an obvious dom/sub dynamic. The range of fic and different interpretations of the characters you can find makes me so happy, and it's the same reason I love my main HP pairing [Remus/Sirius].

I love long replies! And I always find it interesting to find out why people are into their ships. I love Merlin and Arthur together (and Remus and Sirius actually ♥) because I love their contrasts, so we sort of have some similar reasoning.
