I need a vacation! Not a "Mammoth trip\court psychologist get away" A real one! I want a weekend to flound about with no kids, laundry, court appearances, unexpected visitors, parents or inlaws!!! I want a real weekend getaway with my fiance where we can do what we want and eat what we want and not spend $1000. Does anyone have any ideas?

good luck.

once kids are involved, everything costs money (even if it has nothing to do with the kid! it's like somehow, THEY [the mysterious THEY] know that you are broke and have more important things to spend what precious little you have on and THEY make everything cost, like six times what it did before!)

well, umm.....

is your mom or brian's mom willing to watch evan for you, so you CAN have a weekend alone?

can you spend any money? or just not too much?

get a cheep hotel in san diego or something.

of, course, my initial reaction was "honeymoon!!" but, that's 9 months away.

again, good luck!

Well i guess we were thinking about a weekend when Evan will be with the #%&^$. So that won't be a problem but it looks as if it is going to be delayed because my mom and i are going to a baby shower on a sunday in the middle of the only weekend Brian has off for a while. Oh and guess who it's for. My cousin Tony. Do you remember the stories about him? Well he has this fiance and i guees they are not waiting for marriage to start their family. So the Lancaster Ferry branch grows yet again. But really what else is there to do in Lancaster?

He is the one that kicked me in the eye while jumping on the bed, spilled paint on the carpet and tried to vacum it up, and set the house on fire looking for a cat under the bed with a lighter. Some people just give you the shivers when you think of them reproducing.
