a tad excessive? that's an understatement - it's taking the piss. I didn't think they allowed people to check out books for that long at a time! saying that, it's been a while since I used anything other than the county library...

Hi Emily

The Library at Leeds always used to piss me off like that when books were out for like a year, until I found out why.

Greedy Post-Grad students get to keep them for like, ages because they are more important or something, but if you put a hold on the book, they have to return it within two weeks, so you get to use it :)

It's cool to do it in order to just piss post-grads off.

yeh, i was informed of this checking out books for 6 months practice by my friend jon. who plans to be a postgrad next year and take full advantage of taking out lots of books for excessive periods of time...

i was trying to work out if i knew you and looked at your profile. i dont think i do, but when bob dyed his hair blue-black (an incident you mentioned on your user information) i was alos dying mine dark purple, only it didnt dye very well so i used some of bobs blue-black dye to finish it off. pop fact.

my hair looks very pretty :)

i do realise who you are now, didnt recognise you in the photo. sorry i left that workshop half way through the quiet writing time, i just got really nervous and didnt feel able to do it so thought it was best that i left. i am neurotic sometimes. but i like to think its an endearing trait. x

Don't worry. I do that sometimes. Get all nervous sometimes. Worse for me I am too nerve wracked to move and end up looking like a tosspot for the rest of the workshop thing.

Whoo for me!
