Ooh I did enjoy that post. I have infact been moved to locate 'Wothout You' - it's smashing, isn't it?

In addition, interesting point raised regarding 'eros' v. 'affection' - we should brainstorm this one afternoon with tea and cakes, as I think I could benefit also considering recent flawed choices... cx

yes, it is a lovely poem. and vinegar is only short, so here it is:

Vinegar

sometimes
i feel like a priest
in a fish & chip queue
quietly thinking
as the vinegar runs through
how nice it would be
to buy supper for two

well, it is a thin-ish paperback, so your best bet is probably tracking one down in a secondhand bookshop. although i am not sure if you frequent those sorts of places. i dont think its been out of copyright long enough to become available online.
should i find any particular relevant passages i shall make them available to you :)

ah, i wasnt sure if trash_vanity was you, i nearly asked if it was but thought it might have been a leicester person who had the same blonde wig... (i only saw the blonde wig picture)

it was lovely to see you too. it is a shame leicester and leeds are so far apart or i would pop round more often x

but yes, wendy, should you wish it you may come and stay at my house
