I've been having bass leanings too, though I don't think I'd ever be competent enough to play live. My new audio interface will let me record guitar/bass through a line-in with an amp modeller, so I might try to get a cheap second hand bass and record some loops or something.

ooh, lovely friendly dentist in leeds? i could do with one of them, i have the worst teeth, and as yet haven't got round to signing up with once since i moved here.

well, they have a website you can check out, its www.sparklyteeth.co.uk, and I think there is a date each month that you can ring up to see if they are taking on new patients.

random commenting is fine, I usually lock my posts so you did well to sneak in! did you move to leeds because you heard it was a lot of fun? it can be pretty fun, if you know where to look (www.myspace.com/manifestaleeds we put on a lot of fun stuff)...

yes, I did, and sadly so far I've been feeling a bit gypped - probably as you say from not knowing where to look. I've added manifesta, so hopefull things will be looking up soon.
