it is a strange thing, to be on a jury. to sit in judgment of another. to judge based on a standard determined by 4 men, at least 1 of which knows the truth (in this case all 4 did). to decide "guilty" or "not guilty", and to have those men afterwards say 'good job, you solved the mystery correctly' as if it were all a game of clue with the answers

I've always loved the idea of being on a jury, but I don't know what I'd do if I actually got on one - you're right, it's so serious, and not just like a tv show, which is kind of how I envision the whole thing in my head. what a thing to have to do.
