ok, so I posted an entry with a text message. that's cool. guess LJ will get notified of my baby if I have it. BTW, I think my water broke so Joe and I are heading to the hospital.

So, my doctor went out of town, and I didn't get induced. He called me Friday morning to apologize, and said there were 20+ babies born in the hospital Wednesday and Thursday. I guess that's a good enough excuse for the hospital to turn me away, but doesn't make it any less frustrating. I know the baby will come eventually, and that it'll be better ( Read more... )

Apparently I picked the wrong time to have a baby, because apparently everyone else in Yuba and Sutter county are also having babies, and are better then me because they've actually gone into labor. Pshhh ( Read more... )

I've never been in a hurry to do anything in my life. I don't move with a sense of urgency. When I say "Just a minute" I mean at least five, and that's if I remember that I told you a minute, more than likely you'll have to hear that 7 more times, and then just do it yourself. I am going insane. I can't imagine 7 more weeks, and 4 days of being pregnant, and that's only if I have the little booger on time. I'm so uncomfortable. I'm not used to being this oddly shaped. I'm just about 21 weeks along, so it was ultrasound time... We didn't find out if it was a boy or a girl, we want to be surprised... it didn't help though that the technician said "Well, too bad you don't want to find out what you're having, because I know what your baby is!" i'm terrified. the books all say this about the time that it clicks i'm going to be a mom, and it's normal to start freaking out. good thing the book told me it's normal, because i assume i'm screwing everything up if the book doesn't say what i do is normal. i should burn the books. they're probably just making it worse. it occured to me the other ( Read more... )
