I rang my dad. Apparently he had rang my mom again, wanting to know why I hadn't called. To which mom replied that he shouldn't really expect to much seeing that he was the one who walked out of my life. But I rang him anyway, I'm not having him getting angry at mom on my behalf

I'm fine, I'm just a little bit.... confused. What will be revealed? It sounds so surreal, like he is suddenly going to claim he is actually an alien and is about leave the planet earth on his spaceship. And why does he need his brother to reveal it. Why can't he? ARGH MY MIND.

Yes, it really does. I need to speak to my father's brother, my uncle - that sounds too intimate, how can someone I've never met be an uncle - and decided whether I will go... because. To be honest I'm a bit nervous, but then again, he is my dad, okay he's not the nicest bloke in the world but it can't be anything too bad.

And yay, houseboat! You are free to come and visit it whenever you want!

That is rather strange. I'm not sure why your father would want to play this game of cloak and dagger with you. Is it normally in his character to be like this? I'm sure your mother would be able to say...

I don't know, but perhaps he means "brother" in more of a figurative sense, like a very close friend? Although once again, that begs the question of why now...
