Ok, so my parents are riding me still about finishing up my last few credits at Brockport so I can officially graduate.  I know that I should so that I can have a degree and all that business but to be perfectly honest, I don't want to do the work.  I am so sick of the politics of that place and writing papers and everything that goes along with

I think I'm about as lazy as you are. I'm supposed to have read a 400 page book and written a 2 page paper about it by tomorrow and I'm...on page ten, lol.

when I met you, I was back to finish one semester after being "on break" for 3 semesters. the work and hassles especially did suck. the nagging parents certainly grained at my nerves… however, I will admit to you (and never to them!) that I am terribly glad to have the degree over and behind me. I’m terribly glad that although I grumble about the fucking loan repayments, I am not in debt “for nothing”.

doula duty sounds amazing. my cousin is licensed out in san diego, there she says it’s way more commonplace than the east coast - you’ll be ahead of the curve! if your heart thumps for it definitely jump on the opportunity. after the bachelors I’d really looked forward to getting licensed in massaged, but it is not in the cards for now unless a lotto ticket fairy visits.
