Last night K came over with the baby, and I made homemade pizza and apple crisp. The cats were highly suspicious of the baby. The baby was highly enamored with our Nintendo. The pizza was highly delicious.

Visiting and hanging out with G, chillin' in the hotel bar--much fun was had by all!

This weekend I saw wonderful little rooms filled with objects at the Guggenheim and walked my bike through central park, getting turned around, coming out the wrong side, and feeling like I had stepped through the looking glass. Yesterday I looked for all the tiny boats and leaves in a room full of magnificent Durer prints.

Last night I rode my bike up Park Avenue to get to the shabu shabu restaurant and all the livery cab drivers had fear in their hearts and murderous intentions.

Yesterday I made extremely delicious mulligatawny soup and then sat around stressing out about grad schools all night. But with soup!

This weekend we sat on the floor in an art museum and watched breakdancing! And I went to a funny old bra store on the Lower East Side, all dark and dusty and boxes of bras from the stone age stacked all the way up to the ceiling, and an old Hasidic Jewish man at the counter who pronounces your bra size when you walk in. Last night I went for the second time in two days to the restaurant that's on a boat. Because if there's anything I love a lot, it's drinking beer on a boat. I might have to go every night for the rest of my life.

Yesterday I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time ever and rode home past an achingly gorgeous sunset with my eyebrows tingling.
