Ok SO. I went from not being ready to talk about the Readercon situation to basically bursting at the seams and not being ABLE to talk about it because of how much wasn't public info yet. Today our Public Statement went live, and I just want to say, BOOM

So you know, I was never mad at you. My reaction was always "woah, here is this thing that many awesome people including several of my friends are involved in and WAIT WHAT NOW?"

I never doubted for an instant that you and Rose and others would be in there up to your eyebrows fighting the good fight. Thank you.

I know! No worries hon, I totally get it. I had moments of frustration because I wanted to be like "You guys! Trust me! Just give me another day before it all goes nuclear!" But again, we needed the support in what we were doing, and it really was a very fleeting feeling for me. It was absolutely necessary and correct.
