Yah, is Life Church. Which *existed* when i was there but was very small. Apparently now they own everything and have expanded into two other states.

Whoa. I wish my family would escape their megachurch, but I hold almost zero hope of it.

I cannot stress enough how very unlike this our situation was when we were growing up. And our old church still isn't a megachurch, because the Methodist council whatever won't let them be. But they have gone VERY conservative and Julie's parents are still there. Mine left while I was still in college, partly because mom just didn't have any friends there anymore, and partly because of the direction they were going.
