I cannot believe how fast this week has gone. It's my last day at work for a really long time! Not that I'm upset about this. Tonight I'm picking my mother up at the airport (she's been in Detroit since Monday, for a conference of sorts--word up to my birthplace) tonight, and then tomorrow is the Fourth, and then on Sunday...off we go. My semester is officially over! I took my last final this morning, in Journalism Ethics. I thought it went pretty well. Okay, my second exam of the day wasn't so bad -- in fact, it was a lot easier than I expected. Well, I think. And the best thing of all today was that I got good grades on my papers. I got a 100 on my nursing home ethnography and an A- on my paper on covering the military after 9/11. The A- made me the happiest because it's from the professor ( Read more... )

I took my first final this morning - it was terrible. I could've used another half hour, even an hour. I think it was too long.
